Yield of protoplast isolation from different organs in soybean. Protoplast cells were prepared from 7-days old dark grown soybean seedlings (A), 10-days old seedlings (B-E), and 14-days old seedlings (F): etiolated cotyledon (A), hypocotyl (B), cotyledon (C), epicotyl (D), unifoliate leaf (E), trifoliate leaf (F), corresponding to the soybean seedling in (G) on the left, middle, and right, respectively. (H) Protoplast isolation yield from A to F. The scale bars is 40 µm (A-F) or 1 cm (G). The error bars indicate the standard deviation of three replicates. The arrowhead indicates the abnormal protoplast cells. Different letters indicate a significant difference determined by one-way ANOVA followed by Duncan post hoc test (p < 0.05).
