Investigation of yield-related agricultural traits in O. sativa and O. glaberrima. The agricultural traits of O. sativa and O. glaberrima during original cultivation under the climate conditions of Korea were investigated and compared. Heading date, culm length, number of spikelets, ratio of ripened grain, 1000-grain weight, yield, grain length, grain width, and grain thickness were analyzed at the same level in O. sativa and O. glaberrima. However, O. glaberrima had long panicle length, and number of tillers was more in O. sativa. Different letters over the bars indicate significant differences at p<0.05 (ANOVA followed by DMRT).
