Histogram of agricultural traits for 120 plants among F₂ derived by crossing Jeonju686 and JJ621MR. All of the traits investigated were in a wider range than the survey values of Jeonju686 and JJ621MR, and they all showed transgressive segregation, and all were normally distributed as continuous variations. The number of abortive grains on SRBs per panicle and fertile rate were normally distributed with a skew to one side. All of the investigated traits were controlled by various genes, and the umber of abortive grains on SRBs per panicle and fertile rate were greatly influenced by the parent plant.
