Leaf explants were cultured on bud induction medium, composed of MS medium containing 0.2 mg/L BA, 1.0 mg/L IAA and 1.0 mg/L 2,4-D for 1 to 4 weeks, and transferred and cultured for 4 to 7 weeks on shoot formation medium, composed of PGR-free MS medium and MS medium containing 1.0 mg/L BA, 1.5 mg/L IBA and 5.0 mg/L AgNO3, or 1.0 mg/L BA, 1.0mg/L NAA and 5.0 mg/L AgNO3, respectively.
